Other complaints about it itching could be true. The fleece lining starts about 1 & 1/2 - 2 inches in, but doesn't bother me as I have bangs & the wool never touches my skin. Otherwise, it is fully lined. Average quality. Good sizing. Would fit even a large head. Great price!
