5.0 out of 5 stars. Typical Sporthill quality and fit

Sporthill stuff tends to be well made and this shirt is no exception. The fit is snug (M fits me close - 5'8", 145), but the fabric gives - its kind of a performance fabric in casual hoodie style, but with a slim fit. If you want loose, go up one size. I have Sporthill's winter pants made of Swift and really like the fabric - moderately windproof, dries fast and holds up over time. My only complaint is there is no real venting option, but since this style of hoodie isn't really built with that goal in mind, I still gave it a 5 due to all the good characteristics of the product.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Good value

Pacific Blue is very nice color, actually purchased this for daughter. Not as narrow as it looked in the photo. Nice reflective logo on the back for safety and the logo is not too big (about 1.5 inches). Inside feels very soft, outside has a nylon feel. We are suspecting it will be very warm as advertised. We are happy with purchase.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. OK Sweatshirt

On the plus side, it seems well made, material is very stretchy, nice burnt orange color. It isn't anything particular special, the cut is tighter than most sweatshirts. I got M size, and at 5'10" 161 lbs it fits snugly but because of the stretch it isn't "tight". Medium weight, not overly heavy or too light. A decent buy.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Seems to run small (short)

Appears well made. I cannot attest to the performance yet, as I ended up with a size too small. I typically fit mediums with ease, but this medium seems small all around. I'm 6'3 about 180 lbs, and fairly lanky. I would definitely recommend sizing up a size if you fall into this category.

Also, the tag states that this hoodie is ideal for 0-40 F. So if you're looking for something lighter, this might be a tad much. No doubt it will come in handy for Colorado winters and spring, though.

About SportHill

The SportHill apparel brand traces its roots to founder Jim Hill’s career as a world-class runner. Unhappy with the cotton and nylon layers he competed in during his time as an All-American at the University of Oregon, Hill began a search for apparel that would stand up to the demands of elite athletes. This search led Hill to create his own clothing line designed to provide top-flight performance in demanding conditions. SportHill clothing introduced 3SP fabric to the industry, which soon established a reputation as the fastest drying fabric in the world, and SportHill pants and shirts carry on the brand’s legacy of engineering apparel that delivers unparalleled quality and performance.
