5.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful quality boots

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size. They do not have a heavy-duty lining but definitely enough to take the edge off. These are great for the city during the winter time they are not really heavy duty winter boots. They are stylish enough for most any of your day today activities. Be sure to keep up with regular cleaning and maintenance during the winter as the salt will negatively affect the leather.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great so far!

I got these shoes about 3 months ago mostly to deal with cold Midwest winters, plus I'm a big fan of the look (I got them in 'brown'). I have been very pleased so far. They have held up (being waterproof) to medium (pretty thorough) rain and medium puddling so far, but I haven't really tested them in anything deeper than three or so inches. The boots are very warm so I tend to avoid wearing them when the temperature gets above 30 F. I tend to have pretty warm feet though.

The shoes are also pretty comfortable. There was an initial bump in the heel that was a bit uncomfortable but I felt that in all the pairs so I got the size that fit best and it eventually worked itself out as the shoes molded to my feet. Very comfortable now. I also do mostly light walking in these (about 5-7 miles/day) and they have maintained their comfort and quality.

PS My girlfriend also has two pairs of these shoes (2019 & 2017 versions) and she loves both of her pairs. She wears hers everyday.

    11/10 Would recommend.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Sharp looking, well made boots

Although I returned these boots, I still rate them 5 stars. The leather was high quality, as was the construction. They were immediately comfortable. They were just too warm for me when inside. I tried them on and sat at my desk for 15 min and I could tell they were not going to work for my needs. As a casual winter boot they are great. I went with a similar uninsulated pair.

About Kodiak

When Kodiak boots first hit the production lines in Ontario, Canada back in 1910, the company sought to create a new standard in hard-working footwear. By the early 1940s, the brand had become an official supplier to the Canadian Armed Forces. Twenty years later, Kodiak introduced steel toe boots. Today, after more than a century of producing extremely rugged and reliable Kodiak snow boots, work boots and outdoor footwear, this brand remains extremely committed to setting a high bar with innovations like shock-absorbing Comfortzone insoles, slip-resistant Ultimate SR outsoles and metal-free Rockfibre safety toes that meet or exceed CSA and ASTM standards. For work or winter (or both), Kodiak footwear always has you covered.
