It was vey cute and probably very warm. Seemed to be very good quality. I didn't think a 12 year old would keep it as nice due to the soft color.

I find that it is the perfect catch all piece of clothing for transitioning into fall and into spring. I have it in another color and you cannot even tell that this is a 2nd. I would definitely recommend and the extra small is great for young women.

The Small was much too large so I exchanged it for XS. The XS fits well with room for a fleece or sweater, but is a little long on me (actually it is just as long as the Small was!). This is why I prefer the snaps - so I can leave the bottom one open for ease when sitting or bending. The French Blue is a very pretty color. My one regret is that this vest does not have inside pockets.

I like that hay doesn't stick to the outside of carhartt's cotton duck material and the inside sherpa adds a layer of softness and warmth. I love vests because they leave my arms free to move. The only thing I'd change about this vest is the pockets, as others have stated, they are not as big as the pockets on their other vests and jackets for some reason. And I like a zipper rather than snaps. The Berkley II vest has added these features, the larger pockets and a zipper has been added to the snap closure. Sierra Trading Post's discounts and return policies make these vests even a great value.
