SiIng seems half size small, so order accordingly. (Size 7.5 fit like a 7.) These are gorgeous boots to be worn with tights, leggings or pencil-leg pants, as you’ll want to show off the entire boot - including cuff. Once ties are adjusted for your fit, easy on/off with zipper. Sole has good traction, but these boots are more for style and warmth. You wouldn’t want to get them wet or salty in winter conditions.

I bought them a little bigger due to the reviews that said that they were running somewhat small, I figured too big was better than too small and I do have extra room so I wear them with a pair of thicker cotton socks.

The heel is the height I wanted, but, sadly they were just too full in the instep for my thin feet no matter how I laced them. Even an extra insole and heavy socks did not prevent my foot from sliding forward and hitting the end of the boot. If your feet are average, don't let this scare you off-- not many people have feet as bony as mine.
