Sizing is OK; I am size 16 pants so I purchased the 18 in one color and the 16 in the other color. Both fit, but there is room in the 18 for long underwear underneath. The lining only goes to the knee and the pockets are shallow, but hey, everything is cheaper these days. Still a nice pant for the money.

The 18 I ordered did good on my 5'9", 198# body. The length was perfect and I still have room to gain 5#. Tweed indeed. The 18 is a well sized 18 (not an 18W in any way!) The cut is not overly low. The lining does stop at the knee. It's not a super tight weave, so they may not be as warm as some people expect. For the price, I'm loving them.

However, these pants have a much lower waist than I'm comfortable with, so I won't wear them. Luckily, a friend tried them on and liked them, so I gave them to her, to save having to pay the exorbitant $10.95 return fee from Anchorage. STP, please stop treating Alaska (and Hawaii, as I'm guessing they are in the same situation) as a foreign country. It does NOT cost more to ship to Alaska than to anywhere else across the US.

I love the way they fit just below the waist, not tight and not baggy. They are lines with soft silky fabric, have pockets in all the right places. Thank you for providing these. I just wish there were more clothes like these available for women who like to look good, but want practical clothing.

The material is quite soft and attractive. I think the "urban" in the description implies a slightly lower waist than I like, but it's OK. Sizing runs a little small. I knew Woolrich sizes are often a bit small, so ordered up, but they are a little tighter than I'd like. They are quite long, so needed hemming. Lining goes to the knee and is comfortable.

The waistband could be a little softer:-). The legs and behind look nice, but the waist is a little bit poochy, so a belt is needed to keep things from gaping. LOVE the color and the way the fabric looks so rich.
