2.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing is all wrongVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Wisconsin on Thursday, July 30, 2015This is a wonderful jacket..,,if you have ape arms. I am a size 8-10 with no fudging. I ordered a large because I wanted to layer this jacket. The large fit comfortably with little underneath. It would NEVER layer for a winter ride in Wisconsin. And even if it did the arms were four inches too long making this a ridiculously tight jersey with ape arms. Quality and styling were good, although no pockets. Very disappointed in pearl Izumi. They REALLY need to get a handle on traditional sizing.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good cold weather biking jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ohio biker from Ohio on Sunday, April 26, 2015I ordered and tried three different biking jackets for cold weather biking. I liked this one the best because it wasn't constricting or form fitting, but loose enough to put a layer or two underneath it, and good coverage on the arms and back. Would have liked front pockets as well as the one in the back, but no biking jackets seem to come with front pockets!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice jacket, runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Burbank,CA on Monday, March 2, 2015This is a nice jacket and feels warm. Havent worn it on a ride yet. My beef is with PI's sizing. I have been riding for over 10 years and prefer PI for their good quality however in recent years their sizing is inconsistent. I am 5ft 7in tall and weigh around 175lb. I'm late 50's with curves. I take an XL in a top but both jackets this season I have had to exchange for a XXL because they won't go round my midsection. The result then is a jacket that is a bit bulky round the shoulders and sleeves that are way too long. In what universe does middle age spread include arms getting longer. I find all this very demoralizing. Interesting that in other brands of coats and jackets I take a L or even a M. So the bottom line is if you're considering buying this jacket unless you're stick thin, size up and feel depressed.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good Bicycling JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maryland on Tuesday, November 25, 2014I purchase the XL size because I'm an older, pear-shaped woman and need more room in the hip area. This jacket fits well on my lower half, and is a bit large in the upper half, but it will easily go over a few layers for winter wear. The biggest problem for me is the sleeve length, and I will have to have the sleeves hemmed up at least 2 inches. I'm 5'3" tall so my arms are probably shorter than most who purchase an XL. I am happy that it fits well except for the sleeves, because so many bicycling clothes seem to be built only for skinny people. And I love the turquoise color. I have not had a chance to wear the jacket yet, but am looking forward to doing so. If not for the sleeve length, I would give the jacket five stars.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Pearl Izumi cycling barrier jacket reviewReviewed by Dster from New Hampshire on Monday, October 21, 2013I was very disappointed in this jacket - the sizing was bad - I am generally a small/petite or medium/petite. I carefully checked the measurements on the P Izumi chart and ordered the medium/petite accordingly - It was very small and did not fit. I was afraid to xchange it for the large as I have never worn a large in any brand in my life. Very disappointing - now I am out the postage on this. Will probably deal from LL Bean in the future - no postage on deliveries or returns and better size charts. Cannot comment on the warmth, performance as never wore it outside.
