Bought these primarily for ice fishing, & have worn them with a poly under sock. No cold feet, well made, and plenty tall enough for my 11" La Crosse ice king boots. Shorter socks allow the boot tops to chafe the area between ankle & calf. I'm sure these will welcome next deer season also.

However the other two par several inches shorter. The sock were marked 'irregular", but I didn't notice any cosmetic flaws so maybe the varying length was the reason for the discounted price. The overall quality of the socks appears great; however, I am quite disappointed that the product description indicated they are over the calf but only one of the 3 pairs matched the description.

After four hours in temps ranging from the 30's to the 50's my feet felt great (no chilly toes) and the socks had not slouches even a little bit. Highly recommended. P.S. They were thicker than I expected.
