They didn't warm my hands, but they keep the chill out for the most part. My job requires me to handle a megaphone and I started to wonder why my forearms were so sore when I realized that because there is no grip on the palm of the gloves, I had to squeeze extra tight to the smooth handle. The other knock that I have on these gloves is that the thumb is shaped in a conical way doesn't allow the material to form to my skin. I did try out the ability to use my smart phone without taking them off and they worked flawlessly in that respect.
