I have not worn them for an extended period of time so far, so I don't know yet if they are comfortable in the long run.

They provide just enough tension, are fairly comfortable and are mostly invisible under a close fitting jersey knit dress. I say "mostly" because you can still make out the bottom edge, but not in a significant way. Also, I did feel as if they rode up a bit despite claims (on the attached tags) that they do not. For the money? I'm happy I bought these. They do not have a hole cut out of them, as seems to be common with similar garments, so there's no need to complicate things by wearing an additional pair of underwear beneath it.

Once on. it was comfortable and not too confining. I wore it to a wedding from early in the morning until evening. It was more comfortable for me when standing and walking than when sitting.
