I used it right away and it worked great!! Have used it three times and I have now processed for a return :( it started leaking at the bottom. Two times it did the same thing, soooooo dissapointed!! I really liked this diffuser for the way it was working up until it leaked and for the way it looked. Maybe this one had a glitch in it ?? and someone else may get theirs and not have a problem. Hope I can find something similar that doesnt have the issue this one did. Thanks ST for your great return policy! Love shopping with you.
