I am a 10-12 and bought the Large. They are a bit loose so I could have worn a medium. There is a drawstring so I did not send back. They will great for runners, light material. A little shorter than I normally wear.

Super softReviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Thursday, October 24, 2013I've held out on paying more for "just plain running shorts" but now that I'm running longer (50 miles+) I figured I should see what all the fuss is about. Now I know. These shorts are cut better and the fabric is so soft (like baby clothes). And, they are so light you do almost feel naked. The orange stripe does not quite go with everything I own, but it's not a big deal.

They are so light weight and comfortable that I don't even feel them on when running. The back zipper pocket is perfect for stowing I.D. and keys. Love them!
