Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fine jacket, Great price

I bought this jacket as a replacement for an old one that served me for 15 years. This jacket is just what it is billed to be, a nice work jacket. I read the complaints about the zipper and went ahead and got it anyway. So far the zipper isn't and issue for me, but I am not rough on my clothing by nature. It has a great fit and is quite cozy on a cold morning. As to how well it will wear over time remains to be seen. At the price it is definitely a buy for me.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Go ahead and buy it

I was looking for a 30 - 45 degree cruddy weather jacket. We've had 30 - 45 degree cruddy weather since the day it arrived = have worn it almost daily.
Outside is pretty heavy - seems durable. Zipper does catch every time I use it, but it works.

Fit - hardest part of buying on line is getting the right fit, so I'll be a bit long. I am between a large and an XL Usually less expensive large will be too tight and good XL's slightly big with too long sleeves. Assumed this would run small due to price.

Pleasantly surprised - runs as a true or more expensive XL. Bought XL, plenty of room to layer and sleeves are a bit long, but the rib knit cuffs keep them from hanging down to my knuckles. Could likely get away with a large if I didn't want to layer.

Due to heaviness of outer layer, comes out of box a little stiff. But softens up and starts to hang naturally after a couple days.

Nice enough for business casual days, seems rugged enough for outdoor work.

At under $25, beats the heck out of a hooded sweatshirt for twice the price.

This jacket is incredibly warm. Only issue is it seems to be leaking more feathers than other down coats I own. No problems with the zipper yet. Can't beat this coat for the price.

This is my second jacket as the first on i broke the zipper on after 3 days. I was satisfied enough to purchase another one the same day the zipper broke. The zippers can't take much abuse but overall the jacket is very nice, warm, comfortable, just don't try and force the zipper what so ever.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Warm coat, wears well if only the zipper held up like the coat.

Just purchased this coat to replace the one purchased last year. Coat is still going strong but the zipper needs replaced in the first coat. The sad part is to replace the zipper costs as much as the coat!!! Please consider heavy duty zippers when make work coats!! Coat is great, warm and wears like iron.
