4.0 out of 5 stars. really cute on !Verified Buyer Reviewed by Natali from Montana on Wednesday, May 31, 2017these wool shorts are adorable , I got the longer version , as pictured . they ARE itchy tho , not like your Merino wool long underwear . I actually was expecting the same feel , but there are retings on Merino wool , like fine super fine , these must be medium (?). I had to order some silk bloomers to wear under them !! I tested them , with the silk long underwear I own , after I could not wear them 5 minutes without a liner of some sort . I still really like them tho . the price was so bearable !! I do recommend these wool shorts .

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shortsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor Enthusiast from Colorado on Tuesday, January 31, 2017These are very nice shorts for those who want natural fiber and durability. I am 5'5 130#, not very curvy in my hips, and usually wear a size 26 in skinny jeans. I bought the 28 after reading reviews, and it is perfect.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nicely tailoredVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeanne from Texas on Wednesday, August 31, 2016Well constructed, smooth fit but runs small for size. Wool does feel itchy, may be alright if the fit was looser.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Wrong label?Verified Buyer Reviewed by Allie Walker from Alabama on Tuesday, August 16, 2016I bought these shorts in a size 28 in the cabin color and they fit fine. Then I ordered a pair in the lighter tan color and they were HUGE (falling off). I could not figure out what was wrong with the sizing, but then I noticed that the light tan pair buttoned on the opposite side. I honestly think they were men's shorts that were mislabeled as women's. I still don't understand how a size 28 (I assume that means a 28" waist) wouldn't fit, whether it was men's or women's, but the sizing on this pair was wrong. But the shorts themselves are cute, and I love my cabin-color pair in size 28. Just beware if you get a really odd-sized pair that it may be an error in labeling or sizing.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Cute shortsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Allie Walker from Alabama on Wednesday, August 3, 2016These shorts are a nice shorter length. I got the cabin color...the fabric looks almost like tweed or some other "dressy shorts" fabric, but the cabin color is casual enough that they're fine for hiking or more casual endeavors. I was unsure about what size to order, so for others who might be uncertain: I'm 5' 3", 115 lbs. My "natural waist" (i.e. the smallest part) measures about 26-27", but I often wear jeans in a 29 waist. I originally ordered the 29, but they were too big. The size 28 fits with a little breathing room, but without being too loose/baggy.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice shortsVerified Buyer Reviewed by rlmmi from colorado on Tuesday, January 19, 2016These are really nice shorts. The fit is trimmer than the other ice breaker shorts I have so I needed a bigger size. These are also slightly dressier than the casual hiking shorts.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Run way too largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maryland on Thursday, October 29, 2015Like the cut and fabric, but these shorts run really large. I ordered the smallest size and I am 5'6" and weigh 114# and they were falling off me.
