Such a dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by pbco from Michigan on Friday, August 30, 2019I can't believe the prices people will pay for designer jeans, come on folks they are basically just work pants. These meet all my requirements: well made, durable, inexpensive, fit comfortably, wash well, name brand, etc. I am unable to say why they are factory seconds. I had a gentleman come up to me in the grocery store who had never heard of Carhartt. We had a nice discussion and I explained to him that Carhartt was a privately held company headquarted in Dearborn, Mi that has been making durable clothing for over 100 years. Googling Carhartt returns "Carhartt was founded by Hamilton Carhartt in 1889 in Dearborn, Michigan, to make work clothing for manual laborers. The company started with two sewing machines and five workers. Carhartt's first slogan was "Honest value for an honest dollar."
