5.0 out of 5 stars. Sapphire Crystal for under $200.00!

I dare you to find another brand name watch with a sapphire crystal for less than $200.00! Great looking watch. Very clean and easy to read. It is a good size for my wrist. Those who like the really big watch look might be disappointed. It is 1 5/8" (41mm) across as measured on the outside diameter not including the knob. At $104.00 and free shipping, the worst thing that will happen is you will make money when you sell it on ebay or craigslist for $150.00!!!!

No mechanical issues, sits nice and flush on wrist. The illuminating dots are pretty cool, though not super useful since I don't wear it in the dark much. The metal buckle on the strap scratches a little, but the crystal and case look just like they did when I bought this two months ago.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. "Watch" out for Wenger...

I purchased this watch recently from STP. The watch arrived and before I put it on my wrist I set about adjusting the time to the correct hour and minute. Upon completing this I then tried to screw the crown back in (gently - I have many years of experience with temperamental watches) and it just kept screwing and screwing and screwing - and never locking down. This is a fatal flaw on any watch that advertises waterproofness or resistance as water can enter through the crown and damage the watch. STP for there part was prompt and courteous in their handling of the return. After doing some research on line this appears as though it may not be an isolated problem with Wenger watch - the specs are great, but is the quality really there?

Nice looking, but BIG and heavy. It feels like you're wearing a dumbbell around your wrist.

Very happy with this purchase. It's a casual watch that has clean lines and quality construction that can be worn in almost any setting. Love the scratch resistant sapphire crystal. I look forward to many years of use.
