3.0 out of 5 stars. Decent for the price if the flashlight worksReviewed by Geekasaurus from Seattle on Thursday, December 25, 2014The knife was better than I though it would be for the price. Nice design and I have seen worse materials. The flashlight on the other hand is hit and miss. I bought 2 sets and one of the flashlights was doa. Upon inspection I saw that the batteries were starting to leak. Typical of cheapo Chinese button batteries this size from my experience. I figure the stock must be kind of old for this to happen. They are the slighlty unusual size of LR41. Luckily I had some Maxell LR41s that I had bought a while ago and now the doa one works fine. The twist on and off is pretty flaky, I can forsee either the end coming off or it getting turned on by accident.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not as described.Reviewed by Anonymous from NC on Wednesday, December 24, 2014The blade is 3" long, rather than 3.5". That's a big difference. The blade also scrapes on one of the screws that holds the handle together. The flashlight does not work (dead on arrival). I purchased a few as gifts. I'm returning them. Consider getting a different knife from STP.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not as described (MFR's fault), not recommendedReviewed by Carolina from Charlotte, NC on Thursday, December 11, 20141. This is not a 3.5" blade. It measures 3". That's a big difference.
2. It isn't a very well-made knife. It's difficult to open. I've been handling linerlocks every day for about 20 years, and this is one of the rougher mechanisms I've handled.
3. Part of that may be because a screw runs through the liner and rubs slightly against the blade.
4. It has far more gunk inside the liners than one normally finds, even on cheap knives.
5. The pocket clip is pretty stiff.
6. It does come sharp.
7. The handle looks and feels good.
8. The axle is VERY close to the edge of the handle. It wouldn't take much lateral stress to snap this thing.
Another buyer mentions not seeing an O-ring on the light. Mine does have one, but the light was basically dead out of the box.
This appears to be the same knife as the Browning Prism II (also sold here), but with a different handle. If you're considering purchasing this, you'd do well to just pick a different knife and a different keychain flashlight. This would be a perfectly passing gift for someone who isn't used to handling knives and needs to toss one in a toolbox.
I considered giving it two stars because it's sharp and it opens and closes. It gets one because the description is wrong. That isn't STP's fault; the box also lists it as having a 3.5" blade. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Browning Knife Light SetReviewed by Spudnut from Utah on Friday, November 22, 2013This is a nice little set. The light is ok but I'm worried that it might unscrew if I put it on my keychain. It doesn't have an o-ring to hold it snug like a lot of lights of similar size. The knife seems to have a decent edge toit. To open with one hand you'll need to give it a touch of dry graphite.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Browning Light/Knife ComboReviewed by Spudnut from Utah on Wednesday, November 20, 2013This is a really nice little combo unit. The knife opens easily and has quite an edge. Time will tell how it keeps that edge. The little light is tiny but puts out good light for it's size. I recommend.
