Oscar nightgownVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Cali on Thursday, May 29, 2014The beautiful blue material and the quality of workmanship is good, but the beading detail looked cheap. Also, the fit of the bodice just didn't look right. Overall I was disappointed, this was not the quality that I was expecting from this designer, regretfully returned the gown.

Upon inspection, I noticed that both straps were attached with only a very small thread knotted at both ends that went through the fabric and then was tied in a knot. The fabric was very beautiful. If I had liked how it fit, I would have simply kept it and sewn both straps on very well myself. So, I sent them back and wrote a review once already (over a week ago). I did not use foul language and told it like it is and the review was never posted. I did two very positive reviews at the same time on other items and they were posted in about 5 minutes. If I find that the fair reviews I write do not get posted, I will have to stop shopping at STP. How will I know if the review system is fair and true. How can I trust any reviews on the STP website if they don't post the truth?

I looked and found about 1/2 inch of string with knots on both ends. The metal ring of the strap was tied on to the gown with this tiny bit of string. The other strap had the same string. I also didn't like how the bodice divided and conquered my breasts. They looked like old lady breasts and I'm 36B/C in my early 30s.
