3.0 out of 5 stars. Strange FitReviewed by Gingerkite from Northern Virginia on Sunday, August 16, 2015I am 5'10' and 180 lbs, curvy, so I bought the XL long. Love purple but not crazy about the orange with the jackets I own. Can't beat Mountain Hardwear quality. The waist fit well and sat high enough to pervent snow in the pants. Length was long but with Ski boots it doesn't matter. The material was not stretchy enough and the bigggest problem for me was the crotch/inseam area. Very baggy, didn't look good, and I felt I lost freedom of movement by having the crotch almost halfway down to my knees.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic!Reviewed by ebdancer from Philadelphia on Thursday, March 6, 2014I bought these for my slender, long-legged daughter in law (XS, Long) and they fit as if they were made to order. She put them on to try on and they were so comfortable she didn't take them off until she went up to bed. The purple color is gorgeous. I can't speak yet to their durability, but she can't wait to get on the slopes to try them out.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these ski pantsReviewed by Lucy from Hudson Valley on Saturday, January 25, 2014I am 5'11" and curvy and buying ski pants has always been a struggle - tight in the bum and thighs and too short in the lower back so I get cold and too short in the leg. These are fantastic , the color zing is gorgeous and they are warm (skied at 10F yesterday) and the fit fanatic (& who doesnt love a bit of stretch !). Bought the L in long and they are perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Ver nice shell pantsReviewed by Terri Northshore from Minnesota on Tuesday, January 14, 2014I like these pants a lot. They would be very useful for snowshoeing or backcountry skiing. They would work well for spring alpine skiing too. I wish they had an adjustable waist like some other Mountain Hardware ski pants. I wish I could have gotten them in black. The iris is pretty, but not useful for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Wish I could have kept them!Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Thursday, December 19, 2013I have been looking for this type of softshell pant for ages it seems like, mainly for backcountry days and some early spring snow/ice climbing excursions. I LOVE the color and they seemed to have had just the right amount of insulation but a full length zipper in case it got too toasty. Unfortunately, I'm short (5'4) and the only size they had left in the color I wanted was a Long length, so I gave it a dry but they would have bunched up under my boots. Maybe I'll get lucky enough to find another M, regular length at the similar price.
The red and purple combo is legit!
