About Hi-Tec Cruise Trail Down Parka - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

Closeouts. Hi-Tec's Cruise Trail down parka doesn't look like your usual down-insulated jacket -- that's because the quilting is on the inside! The quilted lining keeps the 550 fill power down in place, and the sleek shell provides waterproof breathable protection from the elements.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful and warm!

This is a very comfortable, warm and waterproof jacket; I love it. The first time i wore it was on a walk in the rain. It doesn't have a hood, which is fine with me because I had my umbrella (and don't like hoods anyway. The down isn't 'puffy' but plenty warm. It's better worn with a lighter weight shirt underneath. I'm not a purple fan but this color is a deeper purple and the tone on tone details on the fabric make it even more interesting.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Warmth of a puffy coat without the puffiness.

The jacket was true to size. Long sleeve with elastic/Velcro at wrists. Vecro closures also along zipper. Warm without the bulk of a puffy jacket.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice jacket but too short for me

This jacket fit true to size, the sleeves were long enough, but the body was too short for me, so I sent it back.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Zipper pull broke off during first use. Feathers come out quite easily. Rather like it anyway

Though one zipper pull broke immediately (they're very weak) and some feathers come out, I will keep this if they replace the zipper pull as I like the looks and waterproof feature.

About Hi-Tec

After retiring from the Dutch Air Force and moving to England in the mid-1970s, the enterprising Frank Van Wezel decided to create the world’s first pair of Hi-Tec shoes designed specifically for playing squash. The idea was a hit, and it wasn’t long before Frank’s company had grown to include a full selection of Hi-Tec boots, shoes and sandals. Today, after nearly four decades of footwear innovation, Hi-Tec hiking boots, tennis shoes and sneakers deliver the best mix of support, comfort and style for people who live for adventure.
