They seems to be made shorter for inseam length but that is fine with me as I am 5'3". The top part of the leggings are comfortable and conform to the hip for freedom of movement. I will recommend you stick to your size because these leggings are true to size. If you size bigger they will not fit snug enough, as they do not have a drawstring waist.

Now that I've been wearing them around for 4 months, I can say that the fabric and construction quality is fine. I stay warm, they look nice, and after lots of wear and washing nothing has come unraveled. But they are constantly sliding down. The annoyance of constantly having to pull them up outweighs the warmth and functionality that they have in other areas.

The original Mediums too small and exchanged for a large. They fit and are comfortable except they slip down the back of the butt during class. The material is good quality and if somewhat heavy on the spandex.

The fabric is not as nice as the more expensive leggings. The biggest problem for me is that they were really short. I'm 5'7" and usually wear a 32" inseam.

It does stretch, a little. I usually wear a size 8 or 10 in jeans ( 145 lbs, 5'9" ). I usually wear a medium in New Balance running shorts (comfortably and not tightly) and I decided to do the same with these tights. A large would have been preferable. Not super warm or thick, comfortable for chilly fall weather. I have a "regular" inseam of about 32" and these tights ride about 3 inches above my ankles. I kept them, use them every once and awhile.
