2.0 out of 5 stars. Unfortunate material flawReviewed by Simply Sonja from Tahoe on Friday, February 7, 2014The absolutely beautiful artwork, which is holding up well, almost makes up for the fact that the plastic snap on cover is disintegrating.
Within a few days, the first cover I bought had crumbled on one of the corners as well as one of the snap on clips. I tried again, thinking that perhaps this one had been damaged in shipping. I have been using the second cover for a month and upon inspection see that three corners and two clips along the sides of the snap on plastic have crumbled. :(
I am using this on an iPad third-generation. It seems to fit just fine, but is not holding up to the normal wear and tear. On a daily basis I put my iPad into a sleeve and I do not mind manually putting it to sleep mode.
Very sad, because it is such a beautiful piece… And as I said earlier, the artwork and the fabric portion of the cover is holding up very well.
