2.0 out of 5 stars. Rug quality not up to par.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from IL on Monday, March 7, 2016We were quite disappointed with quality of this rug's construction. It was very loosely woven & the rag strips in the weft were not over-lapped sufficiently enough for the rugs integrity. Because of its loose weave, I washed the rug in an attempt to "full" the structure (a very common practice in hand weaving), but so many rag strip ends came loose that I had to spend a lot of time re-weaving them back into the warp (BTW- the fulling process did nothing to shrink the structure into an adequately tight weave). As a hand weaver myself, I would have been embarrassed to produce such haphazard work. We currently own a rag rug we purchased 30+ years ago & have washed it countless times w/o a single rag end coming loose. With this rug, however, I won't be washing it again ...too much work!

Colorful without being garish. Seems well made and Love that it can be reversed. It was a great buy and I recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars. Rag ReviewVerified Buyer Reviewed by Loves STP from Delaware on Wednesday, December 3, 2014I bought several of these runners. One I use as a rug and the other two I put over my leather couch and chair as pet protection. They work much better than the blanket we had been using because they are heavier. On that note, they are not a thin rug so if you don't have door clearance, they may not work. They are about 3/4" deep. They will slip on a hard floor so you need tape or a non slip pad. I haven't needed to wash them, but I would do one at a time in my large washer.
We have had no issues with pulling or unraveling -even with two dogs jumping up and down on them. They actually seem to like them a lot. My one dog actually now likes to lay over the arm of the chair like a panther and sleep. Too funny.
Also, the yellow/gold color is very pretty. It is a muted color so seems to go with everything. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. This floor runner is vibrant, colorful, thick and festive.Verified Buyer Reviewed by WriteReviseEdit from New York on Tuesday, August 26, 2014Talk about getting what you paid for ... and I mean that in the BEST POSSIBLE way. I adore this floor runner. I have a long, narrow hallway which runs from my kitchen/dining area back to the bathroom and bedrooms. I wanted something bright but not gaudy to liven it up. (I have dark honey wood floors.) I was hesitant, thinking this might be too flimsy or cheap looking. Boy, was I wrong!!! I love, love, love this rug. Some of the ragging has metallic thread running through it -but just a hint, which is nice. I'm guessing they all differ, but probably come from similar materials. As for the color scheme? Mine features more orange tones than the one pictured here - which I think looks heavier in chocolate or black/grey tones. I couldn't be happier. I also ordered it using a coupon for free s/h and STP applied it (even though you'll sometimes read about s/h surcharges on rugs). If I had a need, I'd buy another! Heck, I'd buy two more. Or three more! Maybe I'll get one for the basement???

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful and well-madeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Mexico on Monday, August 11, 2014This rag rug is very constructed well, with secure edge threads, no loose ends, and it lays flat. I purchased the beige color, which is actually a very subtle multicolored rug with beige threads woven in one direction across colorful cotton materials, and beige woven ends. It matches the 3x5 rug with the same color name. We use them both in our home office that has new cork flooring. It coordinates with every color of our office furniture, walls, pictures and window coverings.
It doesn't slip and slide on our home office flooring, but when we tried it on tile flooring it would need a non-skid carpet pad. It does not have any latex backing, which is a big plus for us since that can damage cork flooring over the long term.
No chemical odor from processing, storing or shipping; another plus since some in our household have chemical sensitivities. It smelled a tiny bit earthen upon removing the heavy plastic wrapping, and that completely dissipated after a few hours outside. We have always had some problem with the smell of rugs, carpets, and other flooring, so this was a pleasant surprise.
Haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up and easy it is to clean. Since it does not have any backing it is reversible which should increase the wear.
Would definitely recommend, and plan to buy more if we need anymore area rugs.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for my hardwood floors!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Idaho on Thursday, May 29, 2014These rugs are a great size, good quality, closely woven, and the colors are rich. I use non-skid strips (from my local fabric store) under them to prevent sliding on the hardwood flooring, works great.
