5.0 out of 5 stars. well made boot

The boot seems to run a bit large, and I did return one pair to get a half size smaller. Very glad I did, as they are light, comfortable, and appear well made. I am very tempted to get a second pair as I think they will become my boot of choice for hiking.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Run Big
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Newtoutah from southern Utah on Sunday, February 8, 2015
These appear to be well made boots, but they do run large. I normally buy my boots a half size larger than my street shoe size to allow for thicker socks and to avoid blackened toenails on downhill descents. The 6.5 was definitely too large, maybe in part because they do have a nice wide toe box. Unfortunately, they had sold out of a 6 by the time I was able to arrange an exchange. I wish I could write an indepth review, but I had to exchange for another brand of boots.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boots

I really liked these boots. Well made, good tread, solid boot. They run small and I ultimately returned them because the size I ordered was still a bit small, and I ended up going with another pair that had a stiffer sole. But these are really nice boots.
