5.0 out of 5 stars. excellent bag, needs a couple of enhancementsVerified Buyer Reviewed by MrBikeCommuter from San Diego, CA on Monday, July 14, 2014I'm a serious bike commuter, riding to work nearly every day of the year for several years both in Seattle and San Diego using a few different bags. The single shoulder messenger bag style is, in my opinion, the way to go and this bag's straps and back padding are outstanding. The bag material is waterproof, the flaps and zippers keep water out. So in general, the bag is superb.
The issues for me specifically are: 1) it's a bit too small and doesn't have a expansion zipper. I carry my work clothes and running shoes with me everyday, and I can't easily fit those shoes. If I didn't carry shoes, it's fine for my clothes, laptop, bike tools, lunch. 2) the main zipper is just a bit too small, making it more difficult than it needs to be to get stuff into the bag (including a 14" laptop). 3) lack of a dedicated cell phone case or case anchor on the main strap. 4) the only external zipper pocket is a giant unstructured thing, so finding things in it (like a security badge) is very tough.
None of these issues may affect you and if so, this is the most comfortable and lightweight bag I've used to date.
