This kept me warm in 6 degree temps with 20mph winds. The hood with storm front was good to block out wind to lower face, better than many jackets I wore. Solid jacket.

The construction is top notch and after a day spring skiing in warm, wet conditions I can confirm that it is completely waterproof. I can highly recommend this jacket.

Utvak is well made, large fit perfectly, 180lbs, 6'1.
Fabric on this one was not as soft as the vassi.
Utvak is shorter in length in torso. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great jacket, just preferred the other one. Thanks STP for the easy returns. -

I was a bit unsure since I returned this one from the same company that had a sizing issue. This one was perfect in all senses. It is lightweight for the warmth it provides, very warm jacket with armpit vents, waterproof, gusset is nice, hood is great(I was unsure about the brim, but loved it) and the waterproof zippers are easy. Highly recommended!
