But they are whimsical while functional. I like the look and they appear to be a quality product. I am happy with them.

I ordered 3 sets and a few of them broke during shipping because they don't come in a box, they're just plastic-wrapped together in bundles of 6. The UPS box looked like it had been run over by the truck!
Still - they're nice, simple, basic white plates that look exactly like the picture. -

These plates are simple enough for every day, but can be accessorized for festive occasions. They are an eye catching shape and are roomy enough for most desserts. I even use them for light meals/snacks. I also bought the Bormioli storage bowls and wonder how I did without them. These dishes are quality and priced right.
