They kept my foot supported the entire time. I do have a wider foot, so these may not work for someone with a narrow foot.

I have several pair of Teva shoes - different styles - that fit me with plenty of toe room and width. These, however, were quite narrow. I could barely get my feet into them. I was very disappointed since I have been a fan of Tevas for years. I had to return them.

The ankle area rubbed a bit on my inner ankle bones. I'm hoping with thicker socks and more time, they will break in and this will go away. They are stylish and easy to clean.

I did keep them and find them comfortable, but don't feel they are going to last long. Very plastic feeling. I have plantar's facitis and feel they are a pretty good shoe for this condition (pain has not increased) and my orthotics fit in shoe fine. I kept them, but would probably not buy them again.
