4.0 out of 5 stars. Looking for gloves to use with my touch iPhone!
Reviewed by cfwi44 from Wisconsin on Monday, May 12, 2014
Finally found gloves that will work with my touch screen iPhone, that fit and are reasonably warm in the winter. I have very long fingers but a slender hand (female). Most women's gloves have fingers that are too short and mens gloves are too bulky in the palm area. The "stretchy" type touch screen gloves are usually very thin and not practical for Wisconsin winters. Clearly not for playing in the snow but will work great when pumping gas, outdoor ATM's, tying a garbage bag shut, answering the phone........These gloves have a mitten flap to cover exposed finger tips when needed. S.T.P. description says "for men and women" but package says "Men's". I knocked off 1 star because there is a stretchy band on the exterior of the glove the connects the 3rd and 4th finger (purpose???) ) It is visible in the product photo. This band pokes through into the interior of the finger area. It's very abrasive and sharp. Looks like it was coated with plastic to prevent the end from fraying. I turned the glove inside out, cut the band and removed it. A tiny bit of sewing needed to close the seam up again. Easy fix and otherwise a great product.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Not what I was expecting.

I ordered the small because I have very small hands. They fit fine and I like the way the flaps go inside the glove. my complaint is that they are too long in the fingers. Granted I have very small hands. I wear a size 5 ring on my ring finger.

Great product but runs really small. Normally wear a large glove but could barely get these on my hand. Had to return. Order a size or two up.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
