I ordered a small. It seems to be short waisted, but not a trim fit. It is wider in the middle.
Would be perfect if you have some waist to hide, but not for the slim guy I had in mind.

The material is substantial, the colors really pop (blue version), and it's pretty warm. I typically wear a size L, but I ordered a M based on the size chart. It still fit a little baggy, but for the holiday season, that's never a bad thing.
