Longer length is very flattering. Can be layered under a blazer on cooler days. I bought the gray and red, the combination works well.

I got the black with white snowflakes and white strip down the side. The strip adds a modern touch and the hood came in handy on a windy night running to the car. Really glad I got this for early spring and will enjoy again in the fall.

It's warm, and the length is just great -- I am 5'7 and it's simply perfect. The pattern is very nice and the red stripes on the side provide for a slimming effect. I look much thinner in it! It's good quality wool to wear on top of a shirt or a long-sleeve turtle neck. It's a bit itchy so I would not wear it close to skin. I bought one of these, wore it all the time at home and then bought another! It's all natural so you do not get cold or hot in it. Highly recommend!
