The padding is plentiful. The bottom surface is sturdy without that annoying squeak some rubber soled shoes

The thing I love most about these is that they are true to size in length. I can hardly ever say that about a shoe. If you're on the wide side of medium width they might be a problem. I'm a bit on the narrow side and don't have problems wearing them without socks but I could wear a medium weight and be okay. I think the width is a perfect B. Not wider; not narrower. The toe height is very comfortable. Plenty of room.
They're very rugged on the bottom and are great to wear on my hard wood floors but don't get gummy like some non-slip soles, and don't grip so much that I trip. The foot bed is fairly cushy and comfortable. Some arch support would be nice but hey, they aren't for long walks and I don't notice the absence while puttering around the house. -

They have a soft insole (semi supportive) and keep my feet warm. The non slip outer sole on the bottom is ideal for our slippery wood floors. You can wear them outside if needed. The best slippers at a great price - just ordered another pair!
