  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Royal Robbins High Rise Sweater

Love this sweater! Goes great with jeans or dress pants. Not too snug and the lines give a nice curve to the sweater. Neckline is great! Like the button detail on the sleeve. Great sweater and great price!!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. 3rd Try Works

The Med measured 35" so absolutely did not "hang loose from the body" as described (I am 37" in the bust). The Large fit fine but had thread pulls that looked like lint scattered on the garment. This 3rd sweater in the charcoal I kept. It is a very pretty and soft sweater, and the button detail is especially attractive. The Charcoal color has quite a bit denim blue in it, which does not show in the photo. The white is actually gray.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Full of Thread Pulls

This was my second try. The first was a Med that fit my 37" bust very tightly even though the description stated that the sweater hangs loosely away from the body. The Large fit ok. The sleeve button detail is lovely, and the cotton/acrylic combo is soft and comfy. I returned for another Large and hoped for one that does not have the pulls.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Soft but not as described

This sweater is soft and the sleeve button detail is lovely, but the fit is form-fitting, not "loose from the body" as described. I am 37" in the bust, and the Med measured 35 1/2! I returned for a Large, which had a number of thread pulls on the back, back of sleeves, and some on the front. The mauve/tan color looked like lint was on it. So it has gone back. But the sweater is very pretty and a little different. If you do not want form-fitting, order up.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Too fitted

I usually wear a medium, but size up in Royal Robbins. A large was too fitted - especially in the sleeves. It just didn't feel comfortable on. Pretty pattern, though.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
