5.0 out of 5 stars. Really love this coatReviewed by Natalie from Massachusetts on Tuesday, November 17, 2015This coat is exactly what I was looking for. I knew from other reviewers that the jacket is a little stiff, but I was surprised that is much more of a warm coat than what I typically think a jacket is like. The coat has been perfect for New England Fall days when it's in the 50s outside. The lining is super soft, sort of like velvet. I border on a size medium/large so I ordered a large in this and it fit perfectly. I'm really pleased with this coat and have a feeling that I'll be wearing it for years to come.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Well made jacket, but..Reviewed by sherri from Seattle on Friday, August 28, 2015Looking for a fall jacket, ordered in a large as I am on the border between medium and large. The fabric is unusual. The coat is very stiff feeling and the upper arms/shoulders feel small. The pockets seemed to be set a little too high. The fleece lining is a gold-yellow color which looks nice with the color of the jacket. I wanted to like this coat but because of the fit, had to send it back.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Cozy, warm, flatterningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Columbus, OH on Monday, August 24, 2015Bought this jacket for my elderly mother to use as a rain/snow jacket for the short time she is outside. She's very short, but I unbuttoned the cuffs, gave them one roll, and they fit perfectly. The fabric definitely has a stiffer feel to it, due to the underlying nature of it, but the fleece outside makes it soft, too. Had to go with a large size for someone who normally wears a medium, to get the hip girth. Still, the silhouette looks great! It does NOT swallow her, plus she can never lose the hood. We both agree that she will be nice and cozy warm in this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love itVerified Buyer Reviewed by skilletgirl from Mountain View CA on Monday, August 10, 2015This is more of a coat than a fleece. As one reviewer said, it looks almost like a wool coat. I am normally a medium, but with Royal Robbins, I am consistently a large. I ordered a large in the contour hooded fleece and it fits perfectly, not too tight and not too loose. It is high quality, with nice seam and pocket details. I can't wait for it to get cold so I can try it out. Seems like it will be warm without being bulky.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty StylingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dairylandpat from central wisconsin on Friday, October 31, 2014Returned this jacket because of zipper which functioned poorly. The style of the jacket was very flattering, The fabric is an unusual bonded fabric which is stiff, unlike the usual fleece and was somewhat noisy. The style and overall construction of this medium-weight waterproof jacket was appealing, though I chose not to reorder because of fabric stiffness.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Quality Coat, Very Impressed!Reviewed by Starstuff from Thornton, CO on Wednesday, October 15, 2014The photos of this coat really don't do it justice. It's a sharp looking coat with nice tailoring. It's made from quality materials and construction, with lots of detailing, like multi-access pockets and nice stitching. Inside it has a gold velvety fur lining. The lining and the outer fabric are super soft. The outer fabric, though it says fleece, it stiffer, like a thick felt, so it holds it's shape but still has a soft hand. I haven't worn it on a cold day, but I think it will be a very warm coat. I find wearing wool around my neck irritating, so this is great substitute. As far as sizing, I did end up exchanging the small for a medium. The coat is tailored a bit snug in the upper sleeve and shoulders.

1.0 out of 5 stars. I'm upsetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Ca on Monday, October 13, 2014I loved the jacket but the sizing is way off. I'm upset that I have to pay to return a product that should have fit me. I always wear a large 12-14. This jacket should have been marked a medium. The arm length is right but shoulder, arm holes and the body of the jacket is way too small.
In fact ,please take me off your mailing list. I don't want to pay money for something that should have fit me.
