This is a really pretty shirt that fits well; however the sleeves only were very wrinkled out of the dryer.

Light weight material, interesting pattern. Is a bit wrinkly right out of the box, will have to see how it shapes up.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice up-dated shirt

I like the colors and style. However, the fabric could use a little more stretch. Since it is fitted, I'm forever pulling it down. it rides up and bunches in the middle. Going one size larger might help this problem, but then you lose the fit.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweigth shirt--nice tailoring details

This cotton fabric is lightweight and kind of stiff but still nice. It softens up after being in the dryer. It's a very well made shirt with nice details. The back of the collar has a subtle V shape rather than just being straight across and that detail is echoed in the back yoke which also has a V shape. ( With no back view photo one would not know this.) There is a narrow velvet ribbon down the inside of the button plaque and inside the back of the collar.

I usually wear a small but this small was too small for me to button properly across the bust. I exchanged it for a medium and that fits well. Its is a bit longer in length than most shirts. It does wrinkle a bit out of the dryer.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. a little stiff

the shirt is a little stiff, but good looking. i bought it to go with a long brow nwool vest (i needed something to keep the scratchy wool off my neck) and this works well with the vest. its a little longe of a shirt, i am not sure i will wear it without the vest. i washed it to see if it would soften up. it did a little but still kind of stiff. i dont need to iron it. i am 5"2 and around 145 pounds, the large fit well

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
