Can't get the buttons within an inch of the holes -- though the fit is good everywhere else. Also, these are *not* high-rise (or even medium) -- they are very much low-rise jeans. Going back.

I normally wear a jean/pant size 8 or 10 and a medium or large in other bottoms. They fit great! The thick waist band smooths out muffin tops and acts like shape-wear! They are a good length on me, much longer than they appear on the model (I'm 5'6"). The snap button closure is good too for easy on and off.
As some have mentioned, they do have a significant chemical smell to them. The tags on the pants say you must wash them before wearing them, and even after washing them, the smell remained (though not as strong). There was also no dye fading after the wash, which I was afraid of. Overall I really like these pants and will be keeping them, I may just have to use some body spray on them before leaving the house. -

I've washed them twice -- they still smell. The cotton is organic but the dye is probably the issue. Also, they run small. I normally wear a 4 - -the 6 was perfect.

American eagle jeans size 8 always fit me perfect. I'm 5'6'', 140lb, curvy) The 10 was a little big on me, and didn't have the tight-jean look I was going for, so I exchanged for an 8 and they fit great! These pants are super stretchy, and hug my legs like I wanted- and I can move around in them very easily. They're great for a hike/ long walk, and then putting on a dressy shirt and going out. Love the versatility of these, very chic. For the first day, the top snap would always pop open when I sat down or when I was biking, but by the second time I wore them (without washing) it didn't happen anymore. The back pockets are quite low, going down past my butt.

(Note- I am fairly thin and rarely have a problem with the waist on a size 4 pant. Perhaps a Junior (young teen) would be able to wear them. The fabric and construction was excellent- but, just not roomy enough for me. They are going back.
