The fabric is not bulky, but is sturdy enough to skim the body without clinging in the wrong places. The scooped back is a bit strange for a sweater-dress, because it seems quite chilly, but I have a scarf that I will wear around the shoulders to cover the exposed back. Perfect with scarf, tights and boots.
