5.0 out of 5 stars. Lacrosse snowflake boots

Very cute - adds some color to the otherwise solid black muck boots I've had for years. Not real practical for all of what I do working with horses - feeding hay or slopping about in wet corrals for example - BUT, they're comfortable enough and for not so horrible conditions, they'll work just fine. They run a bit small - size up especially if you want to wear thicker, warmer socks - which I recommend as they are not insulated, so they're not the warmest boots I have. Have had many compliments and I think they're worth keeping, despite these shortcomings.

    These look like cheap boots.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice boot

I was looking for something like these, but did not want to spend the big bucks. The are made nicely. The sole is a little wimpy for snow. I bought a half size up from my regular shoe size and have a high instep, and they fit a little snug with my winter socks. The next size up would have been way too big.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. warm and comfy but not waterproof to the top

These are very warm and comfy, similar to Bogs boots at a fraction of the price. They are lined with fabric on the inside, unlike Boggs, so i expect them to be a little less sweaty than if they were just neoprene on the inside. The only issue is that they are not waterproof all the way to the top. They are probably mostly waterproof up to about the first toggle. Above there the boot is open on the toggle side, behind where it folds over. It looks like the sweater-looking materiel is slightly water-repellant when I pour water on it. Water might be able to seep through, so they might only be waterproof on the black rubberized part. Or it might be neoprene behind the material. Time will tell!
