5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Boot!
Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Wednesday, March 12, 2014
We own a ranch and farm in Montana where we calve almost 300 cows between January and March. This year has been exceptionally cold and mucky so finding a work boot that was not too heavy yet warm has been a difficult proposition. This boot has been wonderful for warmth and keeping my feet dry. I can move quickly in them and, though they look like a lace up boot, they are actually a slip-on which allows for me to trudge through some wet corrals without any leaking inside the boot. My feet stayed dry and fairly warm, even in very cold weather, which has been an ongoing problem with boots in the past. A prior review on the boot warns that they may be difficult to get on and off if you have a high arch is accurate, though not a huge issue if you size up 1/2 size or wear a thinner sock. Warmth in sub-zero weather will be an issue with any boot, this one however allowed for me to work comfortably outside for about four hours before I started to feel the chill. Given that the boot is not bulky and allows for easy mobility it fits the bill for the work I need to do in the amount of time required to be outside to complete that work. My three daughters love the the style of the boot and wear the boot with jeans to run errands or attend college classes. Given that the fur cuff is easily removed this boot can be worn in either capacity. Great boot overall!

Was looking for something different but waterproof, comfortable, and warm. These boots delivered, plus they are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I get stopped everywhere I go by people wanting to know where I got them. If there are any left buy them, you won't regret it.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Awsome in MN

Needed fashionable yet warm boots that would be comfortable enough for long periods of shopping, running errands, etc, but could also go walking in the country with deep snow everywhere. These boots fit the bill! Warm enough even for the negative temps of Minnesota, but not too warm for trips in the grocery store or target. Cute enough for coffee with friends, but also great for taking my dog for walks. They're also perfect for the spring slush thanks to the full neoprene outer. Great, well made boots.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Stylish but Stiff, Heavy-Duty Galoshes
Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, March 27, 2014
I bought these to function as waterproof, insulated winter boots for when I travel to Colorado. Although they are undeniably stylish, walking with them in the house is where my use of these boots has ended. First, I don't get the impression that they would be terribly warm; the insulation inside is very thin. (though I will say the padding in the sole is very comfy). Secondly, these are essentially ultra-heavy-duty galoshes, which means the entire shoe is made from a very thick rubber; as a result, these boots are incredibly stiff. The shoelaces are pretty much decorative, because there is no way a shoelace can have a meaningful influence on a material this hefty. But the worst part is that there is no tongue; instead, the rubber of the boot is molded to fold inward, creating the appearance of a tongue. While no doubt awesome for waterproofing the boot, the folded faux-tongue construction creates a stiff, unyielding ridge that presses against my bony shin, making it feel painful as if bruised -- and that's after just a few minutes with pants tucked into the boot. Such a shame, because these boots are way adorable and the fur cuff is removable -- a cool feature when you want a less over-the-top look. Unfortunately, I would not consider these true winter boots, and they are too uncomfortable to keep. I'm returning mine.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Quality boots

These boots are pretty cool definitely high quality and you get two different looks being able to pull off the furry topper. I was a little doubtful that they were pull on when I saw all those laces, but they are definitely pull on and totally water proof. The laces are just for showey design, there is no way water can get in the boots unless you top them while wading across a stream.

The foot bed is very comfortable and there is decent arch support. They are definitely sized on the smaller size. I just traded in my 8 for a 9 and I normally wear an 8. There wasn't quite enough room for a thicker pair of winter socks comfortably.

I give them 4 instead of 5 stars for me, because they are a little tough to get off with my calves. I am pretty muscular, my calves measure 14.5 around. Other than that, I'm impressed by the quality and comfort.

    Cheers!
