1.0 out of 5 stars. Torture DeviceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Red River on Thursday, February 16, 2017I have very slender legs, but these socks are still so tight they hurt. It took forever to get them on and even longer to get them off. My legs hurt for hours after removing them.
I wouldn't recommend these socks to anyone. -

3.0 out of 5 stars. too tightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ldv from grass valley, ca on Monday, January 26, 2015I wanted to love these. I'm an ER nurse and on my feet all day. Thought these would be great. They're weirdly tight around the ankle. The rest fit well. Very well made thought. Returning unfortunately. Should work for all you super skinny ankle folks, though!

5.0 out of 5 stars. annieclimb@gmail.comVerified Buyer Reviewed by annieclimb from north central USA on Friday, December 12, 2014This triathlete's legs feel so much better after a hard run or ride if I wear these socks. Another great place to wear them is long plane flights, where blood seems to pool into swollen ankles and tight shoes if wearing regular socks. Smartwool is a brand that I've trusted and enjoyed for years but I didn't know they made compression socks until I saw them at Sierra Trading Post. I ordered two pairs for myself and two as gifts!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Socks.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Denver, Colorado on Friday, November 14, 2014I am a physician, on my feet all day and all week. These excellent, modest compression socks eliminate those end-of-the-day aching feet. Also reign in those varicose veins with a fashionable product. I am glad that I gave them a try. Now I wear nothing but smartwool compression socks.

5.0 out of 5 stars. good work socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by yolanda from new england on Thursday, October 30, 2014I am a nurse and work long days. My knees were killing me, my ankles were swelling up (I'm only in my 30s!) and these socks really helped with both of those problems. The wool is light and moisture-wicking; the socks are very comfortable (I tried the cotton "nurse" socks and gave them away). I would highly recommend these socks to anyone who is on his/her feet for long periods of time. Also, this site has the best prices ever!
