On these socks you only see the pilling when you pull them out of the washer or dryer. You don't really see it when they are on your feet due to the style, and they are still the MOST COMFORTABLE socks I have ever owned.

Color is great. I bought many more. Size large is truly a large (I wear a size 10 in women's shoes). Also love that they are made in the USA.
Haven't noticed the pilling that another reader mentioned and I have washed quite a few times. -
