That said, the price I got it at makes it worth keeping. This hat falls a little short on me (I wish it covered more of my ears, etc.), but the material stretch is nice and it fits under my bike helmet well (which is the primary purpose that I got it for). One nice feature that I wish was implemented better is the cut slits on either side for the frames of my sunglasses. If they were larger or located higher on the hat, then they would work better for me. As is, they secure my glasses but push them down into the top of my ears more than I would like.

It fits under a helmet and isn't super insulated so that you alternate between sweating and freezing as you put on and take off your triple fleece gore tex wool hat.
My only problem is that is a little tall and so I look like a gangster when its pulled down flush, so I have to roll it. I thought I had a normal size head.
