5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this pack!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alaska on Tuesday, July 29, 2014I love this day pack! So does my husband (I ordered one for each of us). I especially like the straps, on either side, that allow me to cinch it up tight against my lower back. A regular, shoulder carry, day pack sometimes bothers my back; this pack is the perfect solution for that problem. Carrying weight on my lower back and hips is so much easier than on my shoulders!
After checking out various websites I found this pack to be the cheapest here at Sierra Trading Post. The packs arrived promptly in the mail and my husband and I took them for a "test hike" right away.
I also highly recommend looking up the customer review videos on YouTube about this pack, as well as, the Mountainsmith Tour (smaller) and the Mountainsmith Day (larger) Lumbar packs. Watching the videos helped me to decided which pack would best suit mine and my husband's hiking needs. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Straps are too thinVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Hacienda Heights, CA on Monday, May 19, 2014The shoulder and hand straps are too thin. I wonder how much pounds those straps can hold.

5.0 out of 5 stars. PerfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by Liz from Ohio on Saturday, May 3, 2014Recovering from rotator cuff surgery with a trip to Alaska in the near future, this pack is perfect for me to take those few extra things that I usually use my day pack for. It's super lightweight and has a great assortment of pockets. Comfortable waist belt as well. I don't usually care for lumbar packs but I'm really pleased to have this option since I still need to protect my shoulder. Great looking as well!

1.0 out of 5 stars. Smelly, like rotten fish smellyReviewed by Anonymous from Vermont on Sunday, April 27, 2014I have high hopes for this bag for camera storage and such for hillwalking in Scotland this summer. The one I received smells SO BAD! I let it sit on an enclosed porch for a week, thinking it needed to off gas, and it still smells horrible. There is no description other than rotten fish and unwashed body to describe the odor. Maybe someone used it and sent it back? I am going to try again and exchange it. Wish me luck.
