We kept some old orange pfd on our kayaks, just to be legal. We decided we were going to kayak the river. I knew we needed something we were actually going to wear. This was comfortable and I felt safe.

Plenty open around arms for movement and the customizable bosom area is a big plus! Zipper pockets are handy but not big (but what am I taking with me anyway?). Comes with a safety whistle that doesn't seem very loud but meets minimum safety needs. It is still too wintry for kayaking but I am confident this life jacket will be great.

They always ride up and either cover my chin or push a helmet up from the back resulting
in my not being able to see. It seems no matter how they have been adjusted the same
problem results. This vest fits perfectly. No ride up. Stays in place and is quite comfortable.
The small pads that position under your breasts actually work great. I can remove them if I'm doing
very low key paddle boarding but since so comfortable I don't The cross fire strap set up is very nice also, allows
for very custom adjustment. I think this is the answer for any average size short waisted woman.
I am 5'5" and 145 lbs. Would give it more stars if I could :-)
