5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for TrainingVerified Buyer Reviewed by GoAskDrA from Raleigh on Monday, August 17, 2015Great shoe for XC training - gives reasonable support and wears well - true to size and works well with a narrow foot.
Hope they go on sale again, I'll be getting a couple of pairs. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Friday, July 17, 2015I'm over 40, 5'7", 130# andI run 15-20 miles a week. These shoes are like slippers, no hot spots and very comfortable without being overbuilt. Fit true to size. Great ride. *Surprised at how little arch there is in these things. Not uncomfortable, but barely there.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Favorite shoes everReviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Monday, June 29, 2015I have high arches and have recently suffered from a minor case of plantar fasciitis which prevented me from running for several months. I have ran in 20+ different shoes and these are probably my favorite to run in. They have extra support for high arches, a good amount of cushion, and form comfortably to the shape of the foot.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Iowa on Tuesday, June 23, 2015I've never had any real interest in trying Pearl Izumi running shoes until I read several publication reviews on the Road N2. Wow! I was missing out! I have struggled trying to find a go to running shoe since the Mizuno wave rider 16. I have tried many brands including Mizuno, Brooks, Hoka One One, Adidas, etc. The Road N2 has become my new favorite. It provides me the right amount of support and cushion for long runs and the wear and tear has held up great! I supinate and have a tendency to wear through the outside heals of shoes quickly. The Road N2 has held up great with minimal wear!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Seamless design in great but not enough cushioningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Blair Kyle from Indiana on Thursday, June 18, 2015This was the first pair of Pearl Izumi's I have tried. Upon arrival I was very impressed how the shoes felt as I walked around my house. PI moved the toe box back in the shoe so the feel is slightly different. I had read they moved the toe box for one to reduce the "slap" sound some runners make. I am 5ft 9in and weight about 155. I have worn Nike Pegasus shoes for the last 4 years. They are the right baalnce between weight and cushioning. These shoes came in lighter and more comfortable. After my 15 minutes out I knew the shoes did not have enough cushioning for me. Although very lightweight I question their quote of "perfect balance of lightweight performance and cushioning". Lightweight...yes, cushioning...nope. In the end I did return the shoes but if you can handle a little bit of a rougher ride the seamless design of the shoe is very comfortable and worth taking a look at.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fits well, nice designVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Atlanta on Tuesday, November 18, 2014Fits a bit more snugly than the N1--still wearing the same size in both however, the last is clearly different between the 2 shoes in Pearl Izumi's same model line. Has more cushioning under-foot than the N1 but still a firm feel vs. other similar shoes from other brands--I also run in the Brooks Pureflow3 and this shoe is much firmer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Shoes for RunningVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Rocklin, CA on Tuesday, October 14, 2014I was looking for good shoes for running. I have tried few brands but then I read about Pearl Izumi N2. I bought a pair from REI couple months back and loved it, put almost 200 miles on it. I was looking for good deals since then found on Derailed, bought it another pair. I'm preparing for my first marathon.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Pearl Izumi n2 road shoes.... Not perfect but still the most comfortable I've worn so farVerified Buyer Reviewed by PGF from Western Slope Colorado on Saturday, September 27, 2014These shoes fit like slippers right out of the box! Extremely comfortable, they don't track mud, and have remarkable traction...sticky rubber soles. They are light as a feather and very flexible with good road feel. Great shoes but still not perfect. The tongue design needs some reworking and the shoe fabric is non resistant to almost anything. Buy a half size large, they run small.
