5.0 out of 5 stars. Literally my favorite running shoes ever.Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Wednesday, August 26, 2015These shoes are perfect for me. Out of the 15+ pairs of running shoes I have, I almost always reach for these first. I am a 150 lb runner, and to me these have a good amount of cushion - even though statistically (RW shoelab) these have much less cushion than, say, the Saucony Kinvara 4 or the Altra Torin, I can not tell much difference between them. While the sole has great grip on smooth rocks, when trail running you can easily feel the rocks and roots underneath. These shoes have a subtle rocker motion to them, not over the top like the Altra Olympus or some Hoka models. I find these to have a very efficient feel for both slow and fast running. These can easily be used as a more supportive racing flat since they are so light, the fit is looser and more comfortable than a racing flat though, If you can't handle a tiny bit of sloppiness in the upper, you may want to look for another shoe with a more locked down fit. While I read that these run big, I found that they are not so big to size down. I am between a 10.5-11 running shoe: size 10 was too small, and size 10.5 was perfect. The only complaint I have read and experienced is the short longevity of the foam portion of the sole. I would not expect a huge amount of miles out of these.

4.0 out of 5 stars. They're beautiful, but...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Israel on Thursday, January 1, 2015Really firm ride. Only tried them for a couple of runs, and people say they get softer by the run, so...
Anyways, they're the prettiest shoes I've ever had, and the upper feels so nice.
They feel little heavy for a running shoe, but my last one was a NB racer, so maybe the difference lye in there. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great running shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from St. George, UT on Monday, December 15, 2014I bought my first pair of EM Road N1 shoes to train for a tough mudder. I didn't end up training much, so after running the tough mudder I didn't want to ditch the shoes. I washed them and am happy to say they came out looking like new! they still fit great and are holding up wonderfully. I fell in love with these the first time I tried them on. I love that the toe-to-heel ratio is pretty low and I don't really notice them. They are not so minimalist that its like running in a sock or too squishy that I feel like i have pillows on. This shoe is a perfect balance for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good Minimalist Shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by David the Poet from Illinois on Thursday, October 23, 2014So far, so good! Have worn only two times, but they seem to be both cushioned AND fast! Certainly worth a try at the discounted price!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alabama on Wednesday, September 17, 2014I have a pair of the Pearl Izumi N2's and I got these to compare. I love the N2's but these are even better. I'm a mid foot striker and it feels very comfortable and light for long training runs. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super Comfy ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alex, Climb Bike Run from NC on Monday, September 1, 2014I bought these shoes with the intent of whereing them at work. I pretty much stand /walk on concrete 8-9 hrs a day where I currently work. That being said I need a shoe that is comfortable. These shoes are just that. I've only worn them a handful of times so far, so I can't really speak on durability. I am a runner, but mainly in the trails, so this is not a good review if you are wondering how good they would be for running. Sizing wise I found they are pretty true to my normal size. I wear a size 10 men's with a medium width foot. Someone suggeted ordering a half a size up. I did not and I'm pleased with my decision. They are a little tight when first putting them on, but the upper stretches nicely, yet still fills very supportive. IMHO I would go up a half size if you have a wide foot. Like I said before I did no buy these to run in, but they are extremely comfortable to walk on concrete all day, and that is saying something. Overall I love the style and color of these shoes and it's very hard to beat ST post when it comes to pricing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. PI EM/N1 RoadVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Maine on Friday, August 22, 2014I love the fit and feel of the N1 Roads, they are a bit firmer than many of the shoes I have run in lately, but they feel light and quick on my feet. The toe box is wide enough to not affect my tailor's bunionette and I haven't had any issues with blisters at all. Good shoe, that I will be wearing a lot over the next few months for runs up to 13 to 14 miles.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fast and lightReviewed by CJ from Denver on Wednesday, March 26, 2014This shoe rocks! I've switched to neutral shoes and adopted more of a midfoot strike. This shoe is light, responsive, and easy to turnover. Feels like a high performance shoe should.
