I bought them because they had a little style compared to all my plain black shorts .. but they are oh so comfortable .. fit great .. love the7.5 inch leg .. perfect .. the chamois is wonderful .. I'm thinking of getting a second pair.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. The White Fabric is SEE-THRU!

These looked too good to be true and they were - the white panel of fabric that runs through the back of the shorts is TRANSPARENT! I could see way too much of my anatomy that I did not want others to see! You could even read the cloth label as clear as day. Back they go - I was sad.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Look at my fanny!

If you like your fanny showing through the thin white fabric, then you will LOVE these shorts!!!!!!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. nice short

I like the bright colors, my thinking is if I wear bright colors while riding the odds of getting hit by a car will be less. I wear a size 12 pant but in a bike short I buy an XL and usually the XL is a little snug. This is the first time I have felt a short fits true to size, very comfortable fit. The length fits mid thigh with no constrictive band and yet enough spandex to keep from riding up. I do with they had more padding.

These are great fitting shorts and they go great with some of the Pearl jerseys on this site. I got a sleeveless and its super cute together. I haven't worn them yet and haven't had experience with this chamois which is why I only gave them 4 stars.

Nice for really LONG rides, pad is quite large. I do not wear these for shorter rides or when I plan to walk on run afterwards. Looks nice with lavender camisole style top or matching MTB jersey. I know one is for rode and the other mountain bike (MTB), but, hey it looks good together and is comfortable.

About Pearl Izumi

Before Kinji Shimizu created the first Pearl Izumi cycling apparel, he spent nearly seven days a week on his bike delivering 90 pounds of clothes to customers. He frequently pedaled 38 miles a day. Years later, after his son received a special Italian-made cycling jersey, Kinji was inspired to start creating his own using the best fabrics he could find. The result soon evolved into the Pearl Izumi brand. In the five decades since, the company Kinji founded has continued working hard to make the best gear possible for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors. From incredibly lightweight Pearl Izumi shoes to sleek, comfortable Pearl Izumi running apparel, few other brands have the same relentless drive toward innovation as Pearl Izumi.
