The fabric is light but hangs and drapes beautifully. I was pleased that length is about the same as shorts. It is very freeing to wear. I've already worn it to the gym and plan to wear it bicycling and walking. I think I'll live it next summer. Need more colors!

It's thin, breathable and you feel pretty naked in this skirt. However, you look very socially acceptable. The skirt is on the longer size which means you can dash into a store and feel ok. The material is opaque so everything is covered. In fact, I've thought of bringing one of mine on a cruise to use on a day that we are kayaking as it could double as a swim bottom--kind of. It has a black panty that is thicker than some and thinner than others so you wouldn't have to double up on the bottom if you know what I mean.
Storage--I can put two flasks in the back side pockets and my media and sundries in the back pocket. It's a lot, but the skirt can hold it all. The only thing I miss about this skirt vs some of my brooks that have the biker short liner is the quick access pocket in the leg. I guess I figured I could live with that as I have now purchased three of these skirts and I even got one for a friend.
