They are heavily insulted and weather protected with Gore-Tex® membrane. Sizing seemed true. If you are small normally then buy a small. They will look big when you get them but it is because they have so much insulation.
They work great for cold weather conditions. They are the nicest gloves that i have seen for under $100. If you prefer gloves versus mitts these are for you!!!

Some gloves fatigue my hands because of the way they fit and put strain on my hands, but not these. They are really comfortable! My brother also owns a pair and he was playing in a really wet snow for hours one evening and his hands remained bone dry the entire time. They offer more dexterity than what most gloves of the insulation value offers which is why I bought them. They are warm but not quite as warm as I expected them to be but they are still really warm considering the amount of dexterity they offer. However, the only times my hands got cold were when I was just sitting in freezing weather. When ever I'm active my hands stay nice and toasty. I love that they have a wrist and a cuff gauntlet. Over all they are a technical design with several really sweet features like the hand warmer pockets and the magnets in the strap to keep it from flopping. They seem like they are more durable than most gloves in a similar price range too, but only time will tell that. The fact that they fit my hands so well will also positively impact their longevity. Overall they are a durable, warm and 100% waterproof glove that performs at the level of a higher priced glove.
