Used it a couple of times, works perfectly; blocks the sun, but is well ventilated. I wear a size L in ski helmets, had to order an M for this hat. Didn't blow off even in the gusts you have when on top of mountain ridges here in CO. I would have given it five stars, but docked it one star due to the somewhat coarse finish (little straw ends sticking out near the rim). But at $6, this is massive bang for bucks!

On a recent trip to Mexico mine was taken and used by members of our party so I decided to buy them all their own. Great sun hat, works well in water and you can shape it if you want to. For the price this is the best beater hat that I own but can also wear it casual if you want. Wonderful hat for the price.
